For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us (Romans 8:18, KJV)….hence the title of this blog.
I am a follower of Jesus Christ. Formerly a Southern Baptist, now I don’t quite put much stock in denominations. I don’t think there will be a baptist section, lutheran side or episcopal side in heaven.
I am a teacher and lover of words. Here I write about what’s happening in the moment – this present time with a lens, hopefully, of what God would do, say or is trying to work out in me. Thus these are notes for me as I continue in the belief that writing is essential to the soul.

I am a follower of Jesus Christ (formerly a Catholic) who also doesn’t put much stock in denominations.
I am also formerly a psychotherapist (20+ years) trying to transition to being an author. I walked away from my career in mental health in 2/08 because I believe God told me to. I wrote and self-published my first book, “When Therapy Isn’t Enough, How to fill the holes counseling doesn’t fill”, and am currently working on a second book which will be titled “When Religion Isn’t Enough, Embracing the Gift of Relationship”.
